Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a highly qualified Associate to join our Health Care practice Group in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Job Summary Join a leading practice represented by partners who are actively engaged in high‑profile health care matters. The Associate will work closely with attorneys in litigation, regulatory, and policy matters involving managed care, fraud and abuse, government investigations, and regulatory guidance on business relationships.

Qualifications

3‑5 years of health care law experience in a nationally‑recognized law firm, government agency, health care provider, or managed care organization.

Experience in managed care, fraud and abuse, government or internal investigations, or regulatory guidance on business relationships with health care clients.

Excellent academic credentials, organizational, writing, and analytical skills.

Member of the California Bar.

Responsibilities Work on complex health care litigation, arbitration, regulatory, and policy matters; draft pleadings, briefs, and transaction documents; provide legal analysis on managed care contracts and regulatory guidance; collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategy and compliance; and support firm’s pro bono activities related to health care law.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $250,000–$320,000, plus discretionary bonus. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all‑purpose leave, along with wellness programs, childcare backup, cultural events, and community service opportunities.
