Position Overview As a TLA Associate Attorney, you will play a critical role in our litigation team, managing personal injury cases from inception through trial. You will work closely with senior attorneys, clients, and legal professionals to ensure our clients receive the best possible representation. You will be involved in all aspects of case preparation, including legal research, drafting legal documents, handling discovery, and preparing for trial. Your work will directly impact the success of our firm and our clients.

Responsibilities:
Case Management & Legal Research:
Manage personal injury cases from start to finish, ensuring they progress efficiently through each stage of litigation. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
Discovery & Legal Writing:
Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions. Prepare comprehensive discovery responses and case summaries.
Client Communication:
Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients, providing them with case updates, gathering necessary information, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
Trial Preparation:
Prepare and organize trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial briefs. Participate in trial strategy meetings and support senior attorneys during trial.
Court Appearances & Hearings:
Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other legal proceedings. Represent clients in pretrial hearings, settlement negotiations, and other legal matters.
Mentorship & Collaboration:
Work closely with senior attorneys and staff to ensure each case receives the highest level of attention and advocacy. Be open to feedback and mentorship in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of personal injury or plaintiff-side litigation experience is preferred. Strong courtroom experience or a desire to quickly gain trial experience is highly valued.
Skills:
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in case management software (Filevine or similar preferred).
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
