Their Sacramento office is seeking an experienced and dedicated Paralegal to join their thriving legal team.

This is a full-time, fully on-site position offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and legal professionals to ensure cases progress smoothly while supporting the team throughout the legal process. The Paralegal will manage the intricate and time-sensitive process of filing documents and pleadings in state and federal courts.

Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs, in federal courts

Ensure compliance with state and federal court rules and procedures

Maintain an organized and up-to-date system for tracking case deadlines and court appearances

Coordinate with attorneys and legal teams to gather necessary information for filings

Conduct legal research and analysis related to federal case law and regulations

Assist in drafting legal correspondence and communications with federal agencies, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and settlement agreements

Manage and organize case documents, including both electronic and physical files

Monitor and update case status, calendars, and case management systems

Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal arguments and strategies for federal cases

Provide administrative support and assistance as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (or degree in progress) preferred

Paralegal certificate required

Litigation experience required

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal

Proficiency in federal court procedures and electronic filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF)

In-depth knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team

Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite

Discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
