What We’re Doing Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work Applicant will be expected to provide technical expertise in the area of Missile Defense (MD) modeling and simulation and/or analysis. Depending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following:
Plan and execute performance analyses on C2BMC and its interactions with current and planned-future MD Elements
Document analysis results in reports and briefings
Present analysis results to a variety of audiences
Develop requirements for complex system models/simulations
Execute, test and evaluate/troubleshoot MD level, large scale models/simulations
Develop, test, and evaluate threat scenarios
Develop tools to support analysis and development effort in MATLAB, Python
Provide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in large scale simulations
Interact with members of other C2BMC Product Teams, C2BMC leadership, MDA customers, and technical SMEs as well as leadership of other MD Element programs
May function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

Candidate is required to work on site due to the need to have access to a classified computing environment
