Our client, a full-service, national law firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced
Trust & Estates Paralegal , to join our winning team in Baltimore. Our candidate of choice will research estate and probate law, drafts legal documents, handles trust and estate administration, provides client consultations and manages administrative tasks on behalf of the supervising attorney. You will draft and file accountings as well as death and fiduciary tax returns. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate probate court filings and recordings, including research and familiarity with local rules and probate court Prepare probate administration paperwork, including administration accounts, court petitions, orders, deeds, certifications, etc. Communicate with clients and professional advisors relating to routine acts of estate administration Prepare Gift Tax, Estate Tax, and Fiduciary income tax returns. Input financial data to prepare and file accountings Work with clients’ financial advisors on proper titling of accounts KEY REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and effective time management Self-motivated, flexible, with exceptional follow-through skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Capable of independently managing multiple projects WE OFFER
