Overview Senior Advanced Software Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Richmond, VA)
Responsibilities
Develop and test software as part of an Agile team for Tridium’s Niagara Framework.
Participate in full software development lifecycle, from idea conception to release and maintenance.
Collaborate with other system and software architects on the architecture and design of internal system and processes applications.
Review design and development of Niagara modules.
Work with sales and marketing teams to define Niagara features.
Handle support inquiries escalated from technical support group.
Test new features and enhancements before release of software for product validation.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Must possess 5 years of experience in Java development; Niagara Framework development; and Object/Component Oriented Design Techniques. Must have in-depth knowledge of industry standards and protocols like BACnet, OPC-UA, Modbus, SNMP, MQTT, AMQP.
Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.

Job Site: Richmond, VA
40 hours/week
