Advanced Software Engineer Advanced Software Engineer for Tridium, Inc in Richmond, VA Responsibilities: Work with professional services leadership and development practice management to scope, estimate and execute development projects based on the Niagara Framework APIs using Agile Scrum processes and methods. Specific emphasis on opportunities assessment, scope Niagara development solutions, propose development architectures, estimate development efforts, and build/test/deliver solutions based on the Niagara Framework APIs. Execute full Software Development Life Cycle. Participate in creating Architecture & Design solutions. Have strong technical and functional capabilities. Understand the development problems and requirements. Participate in developing and maintaining strong Customer relationships. Need to be a self-aware learner taking feedback and incorporating going forward. Take the initiative to learn and develop skills needed to perform assignments with a high level of quality. Write well designed, testable, high quality & efficient code. Work in Agile Development environment. Collaborate with globally distributed engineering team. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Location: Richmond, VA 40 hours/week Employee Referral Fee: $1500 If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE. YOU MUST HAVE: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, and five (5) years of experience. Full term of experience must include: Object Oriented Programming (Java) & UI technologies like HTML, Javascript, React; Agile software development methodologies; Test driven design; multi threaded programming; working with databases; ability to architect & design products and custom solutions; maintaining Software Development Life Cycle; and Customer interaction.
