Who you are: You are a highly analytical and motivated person with a desire to learn. You have a deep interest in affordable housing and/or real estate investing. You have experience in one or more of the following: real estate investing, private equity, portfolio management, investment banking, economic development, public finance, urban planning. Knowledge and exposure to Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and HUD multifamily programs is a plus. Belveron is seeking a talented Acquisitions Analyst. Responsibilities include: Analyzing and underwriting potential real estate acquisitions using Belveron financial models Contacting brokers and utilizing CoStar and other data sources to obtain market information Assisting in arranging project financing Preparing applications for public subsidies and transaction approvals Preparing investment memos and related documents; participating in investment committee meetings Reviewing and understanding legal documents Coordinating and evaluating third-party due diligence reports Assisting in firm-wide initiatives as needed Preferred

Background and Skills: 1-3 years of relevant work experience Strong interest in pursuing a career in affordable housing or real estate investment Eagerness to learn the business and a willingness to jump in and help the team wherever needed Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a focus on real estate financial modeling Strong oral and written communication skills Advanced use of Excel and comfort learning new data resources Education: Location: New York, NY Contact: Send resume and cover letter in a single PDF attachment to careers@belveron.com with “Investments Analyst” in the subject line.
