Overview

PDS 2 / Power Delivery Substation This position is not eligible for recruiting or sourcing by outside parties. Mesa Associates, Inc. is looking for a designer or 3D modeler with experience with 3D using Inventor, Solidworks, SDS P4A or P4I to complete substation physical layout design deliverables for medium to high voltage substations. This position involves the preparation of design drawings such as general arrangements, equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts, grounding plan, conduit and cable plan, bills of material, cable schedules for medium and high voltage substations using AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, Revit, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office software tools. The position requires working with others in a collaborative team environment as well as a possible small amount of travel. Experience in Inventor or Solidworks preferred. Revit or SDS Smart Tools a plus. Responsibilities

Produce error-free work and meet client schedules. Create plan views, section views, elevations, conduit & cable schedules, and bills of material. Complete overnight site visits as needed; estimated travel less than 5%. Use AutoCAD to view, plot, and edit drawings. Use Inventor and the SDS design tool. Work collaboratively with others in a supportive team environment. Education/Experience/Licensure

A 2 year associates degree in engineering technology or drafting is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred. Qualifications
