About the Role Mesa Associates, Inc. is looking for a designer or 3D modeler with experience with 3D using Inventor, Solidworks, SDS P4A or P4I to complete substation physical layout design deliverables for medium to high voltage substations.
Responsibilities
Prepare design drawings such as general arrangements, equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts, grounding plan, conduit and cable plan, bills of material, cable schedules for medium and high voltage substations using AutoCAD, Inventor, P4A, Revit, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office software tools.
Work with others in a collaborative team environment; travel may be required.
Produce plan views, section views, elevations, conduit & cable schedules, and bills of material with error-free work in line with client schedules.
Use AutoCAD to view, plot, and edit drawings; use Inventor and the SDS design tool.
Be willing to work with others in a supportive and collaborative manner.
Education/Experience/Licensure
A 2 year associates degree in engineering technology or drafting is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
