Overview
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Developer - IT Manufacturing as part of the Internal IT Application Services Team in St. Louis, MO. The Internal WWT IT team maintains and supports the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and data systems, while providing strong technical support to employees. What will you be doing? World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) currently has an opening for a Developer - IT Manufacturing, as a part of our Internal IT Application Services Team in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
Be a part of application architecture, design, and development within the IT Warehousing Operations.
Collaborate with various teams and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions.
Participate in strategic project planning that improves operational efficiency across WWT's global supply chain organization.
Test end-to-end solutions to ensure satisfaction of internal and external users, including unit, functional, and regression testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree, preferably in computer science, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain.
3+ years of software development and experience performing business or system analysis.
Experience developing applications using JavaScript frameworks like Angular and/or VueJS, and building RESTful APIs with NodeJS is a strong plus.
Experience with full-stack application development is preferred.
Understanding of the software development life cycle, including release planning, requirements management, quality assurance, and release management.
Experience with Oracle databases and strong SQL/PL-SQL knowledge; experience with MongoDB is a plus.
Oracle E-Business Suite experience in modules such as Inventory, Manufacturing, WMS, WIP, BOM, and Cost Management is preferred.
Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (GIT preferred).
Ability to thrive in an agile environment with evolving requirements and knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Scrum principles.
Ability to explain benefits of software development best practices (e.g., Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration).
Self-directed, self-motivated, able to work independently.
Innovative, collaborative, and able to present alternative ideas functionally and technically.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Salary and Benefits Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $74,400.00 to $93,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on factors including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Some roles may be eligible for variable incentive compensation (bonuses or commissions) not included in the base pay.
