Butterfield Trail Village is a Life Plan Community located in Fayetteville, AR. We are a health‑care nonprofit with a mission to provide senior residents a resort‑style environment focused on wellness and customer‑centric care. Join our full‑time Accounting team to work onsite in a vibrant and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities This full‑time Accountant will manage core financial functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and support the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities include:
Processing payroll and maintaining general ledger entries.
Managing heavy accounts payable, use‑tax reporting, and journal entry preparation.
Executing balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensuring consistency in financial reporting.
Collaborating with the team to support day‑to‑day operations and financial integrity.
Required Qualifications The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping principles and expertise in accounting systems and spreadsheets, and proven experience in payroll, receivables, payables and ledger maintenance. Must demonstrate:
Proficiency with invoicing and billing systems and standard accounting principles.
Experience with office productivity applications and advanced spreadsheet skills.
Experience in payables, receivables, payroll processing and general ledger maintenance.
Excellent organizational skills and a detail‑oriented approach.
Strong service‑oriented demeanor and personable nature.
Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to establish rapport.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or as part of a team.
Strict confidentiality and commitment to sensitive information.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Experience in Sage and Paycor is a plus.
