Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, the Corporate Accountant is responsible for handling various duties from general ledger reconciliation to month end close. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciliations and account analysis Prepare financial management reports Assist with preparation and coordination of internal and external audits Research miscellaneous accounts, accounting questions & miscellaneous mail Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements Perform other related duties as assigned or requested KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS
Must be able to work independently Good communication skills Good planning, organizing and coordinating skills Must be detail oriented Must be able to multi-task Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of experience in Accounting, manufacturing preferred All candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
CPA, preferred Experience working in a publicly traded company including audit prep and support WE VALUE
