$150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Responsible for financial reporting and all accounting functions for 20+ entities. Develop internal control policies and procedures. Communicate issues promptly and coordinate with stakeholders. Streamline and improve the organization; deliver insights to management based on analysis of reports. Review operational budgets and analyze variances against budget and prior costs. Provide proactive analytics and reporting to improve forecasting, align results, draw insights and influence action. Perform accounting and finance duties including reconciliations, financial analysis, and budgeting. Prepare weekly and monthly reporting and analysis. Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL and Inventory. Manage monthly closing process and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Oversee payroll, 401(k), and insurance; oversee HR functions including 401(k), insurance, hiring and office management for all entities. Guide, coach, and develop accounting team members to support growth. Manage permits/Liquor License/Health/NYS Dept of Agriculture. Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 15+ years of experience in a consumer goods / food & beverage business Proficiency with Word and Excel Knowledge of Sage Ability to interact with outside vendors, accountants, and other external clients Seniority level
