Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of professional accounting experience – Preference for higher education, Not-for-Profit or Foundation Experience creating, editing, and using Pivot Tables and formulas in Excel Experience creating financial reports and analyzing trends and variances Experience navigating and reporting on large data sets Experience with data analytics tools for presenting financial data Experience with ERP accounting system Exhibits behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the University of Georgia Position Summary

As part of the UGA Foundation’s Financial Accounting and Reporting team, this position is responsible for financial reporting on subsets of data to enhance management’s oversight of financial information. It supports the Foundation’s operating budget and other unrestricted resources, including reporting, projections, budget development and financial analysis for clear reporting to management. The role provides interim assurance and reconciliation reports to management and assists the Associate Director in managing two study-away properties, providing financial analysis for leadership decisions. See the UGA Background Check website for details. Duties/Responsibilities – UGAF Budget Activity and Unrestricted Resources

Create and update internal metrics, analytics, and projections for current-year reporting on the unrestricted budget. Collaborate on annual budget development; provide data-driven suggestions. Lead gatekeeper of unrestricted financial data; ensure data integrity; use Foundation ERP and data analytics tools to support deliverables; propose improvements. Serve as budget specialist within Foundation ERP; load, reconcile, and maintain budgets. Design and maintain campus reports related to unrestricted funds; share data with campus partners. Create and maintain Unrestricted Budget Custom Organization in Foundation ERP. Record and update Unrestricted Accounting entries; investigate issues and provide explanations. Percentage of time:

45 Duties/Responsibilities – Financial & Monthly Reporting

Report on subsets of data and propose process improvements; include UGAF Construction Funds, Foundation Fellows, President’s Office reports, PLC, and grant funding. Monthly reconciliation of unrestricted reserves. Support financial, external/internal audit, and tax reporting. Complete year-end activities as requested. Coordinate with leadership on projects and ad hoc reporting; backup for Financial Accounting (journal entries, ledgers, adjustments). Respond to campus questions and issues; perform other related duties as assigned. Percentage of time:

25 Duties/Responsibilities – Property Operations

Monitor contracts/expenditures for Delta Hall and Oxford facilities; coordinate with program managers and the Associate Director. Process expenses and ensure timely vendor payments. Track maintenance and replacement schedules; provide replacement recommendations. Oversee vendor selection, bids, contracts, and compliance with purchasing guidelines. Provide monthly reports, analysis, and projections for UGAF properties. Support operations and administration for UGAF-owned properties. Percentage of time:

15 Duties/Responsibilities – UGAF Operations, Asset Management, & Insurance

Monitor property taxes and insurance payments; manage long-term debt payments on real property. Assist with insurance activities and annual applications; update insurer as needed. Asset management: process insurance-related invoices, reconcile, and maintain asset schedules. Maintain fixed asset schedules and asset accounting for UGAF real assets and property. Support campus partners with endorsements and contract processing as needed. Percentage of time:
