Overview

Experienced Litigation Attorney (New Orleans, LA) Adams & Reese seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join their Global Trade & Transportation Team in the New Orleans office. Personal injury, insurance defense and/or commercial litigation experience required; experience with motor carrier, rail, or maritime litigation preferred. The candidate should have excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including conducting and defending depositions and regular court appearances. First-chair trial experience preferred. Louisiana law license or ability to waive-in required. Full-time in New Orleans office. Responsibilities

Contribute to litigation within the Global Trade & Transportation Team, handling cases in personal injury, insurance defense, and/or commercial litigation as appropriate. Prepare and defend depositions and participate in regular court appearances. Assist with strategy, trial preparation, and, when needed, first-chair trial responsibilities. Qualifications

Experience in personal injury, insurance defense, and/or commercial litigation; experience with motor carrier, rail, or maritime litigation preferred. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
