Katie's Way , based in the River Market (KCMO), is seeking a full-time onsite
IT Helpdesk Technician II
to provide advanced, customer-centric triage support for internal employees' software, hardware, network, and SaaS-related issues. Key responsibilities include:
Responding to escalated support tickets via phone, email, chat, or in person, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Troubleshooting desktop, laptop, mobile device, peripheral, network, and application issues—often via remote access or site visits.
Providing user access management, application support, and hardware provisioning.
Documenting case resolution steps, maintaining knowledge base articles, and updating ticketing systems.
Assisting IT leadership with project transitions, solution rollouts, workstation imaging, remote support, and asset management.
Escalating unresolved issues to the IT Director or external teams as per procedures.
Maintaining confidentiality of all employee, patient, client, and company information.
Participating in meetings and professional development activities.
Understanding and complying with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years in IT support or similar roles
Proficiency with Windows OS, MacOS, SaaS, basic networking, peripherals, imaging tools, call center equipment, and ticketing systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, following ITIL-like support processes
Preferred qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
Experience with EHR systems or HIPAA-compliant environments
Experience with SaaS rollouts or systems imaging
