Responsibilities

Furniture-Spring-Up position located in Claremont, NC.

Perform frame preparation tasks in line with production flow (e.g., inspect joints, lift frames, and prepare for spring-up).

Place frames on lift and assist with spring-up processes, including sizing springs and attaching wires according to spring-up instructions.

Maintain high standards of accuracy in all tasks, ensuring materials and components are in optimal condition.

Qualifications

At least 1–2 years of experience in production of upholstered furniture.

Good attention to detail and ability to work with hands.

Experience reading and understanding production tickets.

Ability to interpret simple spring-up instructions commonly found in manuals.

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.

Good communication skills (oral and written).

Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.

Excellent time-management skills, including the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently lift frames weighing approximately 50–75 lbs.

Ability to stand for 10-hour periods and bend and twist as required to upholster furniture.
