KWES-TV / NewsWest 9, the NBC affiliate serving the Odessa-Midland market, is looking for an energetic, driven, and creative Account Executive to join our high-performing sales team. What You’ll Do: Develop custom, creative advertising solutions that help clients grow their business across TV, digital, streaming, and sponsorship platforms. Proactively identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities in the Odessa-Midland market. Build strong relationships with local businesses, agencies, and community leaders. Present and sell integrated campaigns that combine NewsWest 9’s unmatched reach with targeted digital precision. Meet and exceed revenue goals through strategic prospecting, solution-based selling, and consultative partnerships. Work closely with our creative, marketing, and digital teams to deliver impactful campaigns that drive measurable results. Stay ahead of industry trends and keep clients informed on the latest advertising opportunities. What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of media sales experience preferred (broadcast, digital, or agency). Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and closing deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. High energy, self-motivation, and a relentless drive to succeed. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with WideOrbit, Matrix, or research tools a plus.
