Inventory and Distribution Manager

This role is based in the Greater Orlando area, with the warehouse facility located in a nearby suburb. About the Opportunity: A dynamic consumer goods company, renowned for its distinctive and design-forward product lines, is seeking a seasoned Inventory & Distribution Manager to oversee its warehousing and distribution functions. This pivotal role is integral to the company's commitment to delivering exceptional products to a global customer base. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic insight and hands-on leadership to drive operational excellence and support the company's growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving processes. Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimize productivity, accuracy, and safety. Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment. Coordinate with vendors and carriers to manage inbound and outbound logistics effectively. Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions accordingly. Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced distribution environment. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with major retail accounts and third-party logistics (3PL) is advantageous.
