$64,000 - $76,000 / year What you’ll do
Monitor and collect data for environmental projects, including air quality, hazardous materials, remediation and risk management. Report to the Branch Manager to assist with regulatory functions and present findings. Collect samples and maintain sampling equipment. Stay current on regulatory changes and requirements. Maintain environmental permits, licenses and related materials. Identify and evaluate risk of hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead-based paint. Oversee air quality and remediation projects, including microbial remediation. Train clients on topics in environmental safety, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations. Prepare reports, correspondence, regulatory forms and other documentation. Supervise drilling and excavation contractors. Conduct work involving non-conventional planning. Uphold Fehr Graham’s Core Values and mission. Perform additional duties as assigned. What it takes
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. Three or more years of experience in environmental science, site remediation or environmental health and safety. Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to work independently and in a team. Strong attention to detail. Background in environmental science, safety or a related field. Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Ability to read floor plans and a strong understanding of construction. Collaborative spirit. Willingness to travel to work sites and work in various weather conditions while wearing Personal Protective Equipment. Ability to work independently under general supervision. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities. What you’ll get
