Archaeological Field Technicians
to support survey efforts for energy
projects across the United States . This is a project-term, field-based position with 100% travel. Archaeological Field Techs will assist with or conduct archaeological field surveys. Responsibilities
Dig shovel tests and screen soil. Inspect land surface for artifacts. Bag artifacts and record provenance. Maintain field notes. Ensure compliance with corporate HSE standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Archaeological field school or prior survey experience. Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and terrain. Willingness to work weekends and over 40 hours/week when needed. Knowledge of archaeological survey protocols. Ability to work in the field for extended periods. Meet criteria in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for field positions. B.A. in Anthropology or related field is advantageous.
