Archaeological Field Technicians
to support survey efforts for energy
projects located across the United States . This is a project-term, field-based position with 100% travel. Archaeological Field Techs will assist with or conduct archaeological field surveys. Responsibilities:
Dig shovel tests and screen soil. Visually inspect land surfaces for artifacts. Bag recovered artifacts and record provenance. Maintain field notes. Ensure compliance with corporate HSE policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Archaeological field school or prior archaeological survey experience. Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and terrain. Willingness to work weekends and over 40 hours/week when needed. Knowledge of archaeological survey protocols. Ability to work in the field for extended periods. Must meet criteria in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for field positions.
