Job Overview As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing long-term customer relationships within your assigned territory. This position requires proactive engagement with customers and close collaboration with internal teams to achieve and exceed annual sales objectives. Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth:
Lead sales efforts for reciprocating products, services, and parts, with a focus on reciprocating engines and compressors. Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong partnerships with both current and prospective customers to understand their business needs. Solution Promotion:
Present and communicate innovative technologies and solutions that address customer operational challenges. Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet growth and revenue targets. Collaboration:
Work closely with technical sales support to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. CRM Management:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (or a comparable CRM). Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time within the assigned territory. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operations. Hands-on experience with reciprocating compressors and engines. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proven ability to develop and sustain customer relationships. Results-driven, with a leadership style focused on empowerment and continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (Dynamics or equivalent). Commitment to safety, high-quality service, and teamwork. Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
