Job Summary : Provide off‑campus transportation for residents, tenants, and clients of MJH. Transport clients from the community to MJH satellite facilities, doctors, and clinics. Essential Functions

Transports persons to and from MJH and other locations. Assists passengers on and off the van in a safe and courteous manner; handles medical equipment and emergencies. Maintains vehicles in standard working condition and cleanliness; reports maintenance needs immediately. Records passenger logs and reports accidents/ incidents per protocol. Performs courier and banking functions as needed. Follows all department safety policies and procedures at all times. Participates as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team and attends meetings and in‑services as necessary. Required Experience & Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Two years’ experience driving an passenger bus or larger, with wheelchair accessibility preferred. One year experience carrying elderly and/or disabled passengers. Licenses & Certifications

Current Florida Commercial Driver’s License Class A, B or C with passenger endorsement (preferred). CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred). Abilities & Physical Capability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Dade County streets. Ability to assist physically frail, elderly, and disabled persons; operable equipment to assist disabled persons. Must attend and pass annual safety driving program; maintain good driving record. Pass a physical capability test upon hire. Heavy lifting and pushing of wheelchairs; operate in outdoor environmental conditions. Organizational Expectations
