We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in Pasadena, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Overview Position subject to collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities
Safety-Focused Operations: Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Passenger Care: Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
Vehicle Vigilance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
21 years or older
Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned
Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits Schedule I drugs, including cannabis)
Physical Requirements
Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
Long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen, varying work environments indoors and outdoors
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $24.39/hr starting, with progression to $30.00 over 5 years
Benefits: Vacation up to 14 days per year; Paid sick leave; medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days (full-time); life insurance; 401k; company holidays
