Overview
Cranmore is seeking some enthusiastic individuals to join our seasonal program staff. In this position, you will work with the same group of kids each weekend and vacation periods, sharing your passion for skiing, building their skills, exploring all the mountain has to offer, and building team dynamic and lasting relationships with your group. The ideal individual will be available during program hours (8:30 AM-1:30 PM) on Saturdays and Sundays, and during holiday and vacation periods, including Christmas week, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, and February Vacation week. This can be a Full time or Part time Snowsports instructor position. Responsibilities
Teach the techniques of skiing or snowboarding, according to guidelines established by resort and PSIA and ASSI, in a group setting and based on customer skill level.
Provide a safe and fun environment for a student that facilitates learning and a memorable experience.
Demonstrate and communicate proper ski and snowboard techniques.
Be adaptable and willing to learn, grow, and improve.
Maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a cheerful, professional attitude.
Work with the same group of kids each weekend and during vacation periods.
Qualifications
2 to 3 years of teaching experience in a children's program is preferred.
PSIA Level 1/CS 1 credentials are a plus but not required.
Must be adaptable and willing to learn, grow, and improve.
Must have the ability to demonstrate and communicate proper ski and snowboard techniques.
Compensation is determined by experience and PSIA-AASI certification levels.
