Overview
I am looking for a hands-on
EHS Manager
to lead safety initiatives across a manufacturing facility, and create a culture where employees thrive in a safe, healthy environment. This role combines strategy, leadership, and day-to-day operational safety oversight. What You’ll Do
Identify hazards and manage risk to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ANSI standards. Lead safety programs, policies, and awareness campaigns that engage employees at all levels. Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed. Deliver and maintain training programs: new hire orientation, forklift, HazCom, PPE, lockout/tagout, hearing conservation, and more. Manage emergency preparedness, first aid, and CPR programs, including training for first responders. Partner with managers, engineers, and security teams to maintain safe, secure facilities. Stay current on industry best practices and EHS regulations to continuously improve programs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. CIH or CSP preferred. 5+ years in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ANSI standards. Experience leading multiple programs, audits, and training initiatives. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. First Aid and CPR certified; instructor/trainer experience a plus. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional. Seniority level
