Equipaws Pet Services is a local, woman-owned pet sitting and dog walking company that has been helping pets and their families live their best lives since 2011. We are currently looking for AM/PM Pet Care Specialists (Pet Sitter) to join our team of pet-loving individuals. This is an opportunity to thrive in an independent work environment, enjoy fresh air, exercise, walking, and spend your time improving the lives of dogs and cats, while earning a living. Location & Schedule
Location: Coral Gables / Coconut Grove and the surrounding areas. Pet sitting typically from 7:00–9:00 AM and 5:00–10:30 PM, Monday–Sunday (visits may occur throughout the day). Responsibilities
Provide professional care for pets in your neighborhood and surrounding areas. Design schedules to keep travel time between visits to about 20 minutes or less. For dogs: take them for walks, provide fresh water, and, when requested, offer treats, meals, or medications. For cats: engage in play, tidy the litter box, refresh water, and provide treats, meals, or medications as instructed. Assist vacation clients by caring for their pets and their homes (e.g., managing trash, picking up mail) to maintain peace of mind for owners. Document pet care experiences with photos shared with pet parents after each visit. Demonstrate passion for dogs, cats, and all things furry in every interaction. Receive support from management; reach out with any questions. Qualifications
Excellent pet handling skills and intuition; comfortable with dogs of varying sizes and breeds. Dependable, trustworthy, with strong time management skills. Excellent customer service and communication; professional and courteous with clients at all times. Comfortable getting around the city safely in all weather conditions (Miami). Willing to work weekends and holidays; holiday work is required. Dog walkers must be 18 years or older. Ability to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S. You need a car (with insurance), email, and a smartphone to work with us. Benefits
