About the Role
As an Associate Lighting Designer, you will design and develop products consistent with seasonal concepts and business needs. Under senior leadership, you will assist with the development process for each product from sketch to approval.
Responsibilities
Translate trends and concepts into designs that respond to business needs for the relevant product category
Develop designs from initial concept through approval
Pull tears and assemble concepts
Create presentation decks
Develop designs through sketching and 3D modeling
Prepare product renderings
Present to design, merchant and leadership team
Complete product specifications and CADs
Own the development process through daily communication with sourcing, vendors, and agents
Comment on product samples
Assist senior designers
Issue product approvals
Coordinate sample presentations and organize samples
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years professional experience required
Degree in design or equivalent experience
Experience with drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering (AutoCAD, Rhino, Keyshot)
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Outlook essential
Onsite in the Dumbo Brooklyn office required

Compensation Expected starting pay range $75,000 - $80,000. Pay determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Additional compensation may include bonuses and benefits.
