Job Title: Lecturer of History Location: Kennesaw, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 290691 Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of History in the Department of History and Philosophy with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities
Teach general education undergraduate courses in history Participation in department and campus activities Faculty are expected to teach courses of variable sizes and modalities, including large class sizes Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Qualifications
Required: A terminal degree, or foreign equivalent, in history or a related field is required at the time of hire Required: Record of teaching undergraduate students in history Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in different modalities, such as online or hybrid courses Record of past teaching survey courses in world history Effectiveness in teaching different course sizes, including large classes Required Documents to Attach
