You will join as a Behavior Technician and contribute to this mission. We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in working with kids Teach kids while playing, following a treatment plan specific to each child Observe, play and collect data to write progress notes Help kids learn essential life skills (motor, social, emotional, and more) Work on goals with the child to shape challenging behaviors into communication skills Make a difference in the life of a child Skills and qualities we are looking for Compassionate individuals who thrive in caregiving environments; experience in early childhood education, childcare, paraprofessional work, mental health, psychology, or social work; hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire Paid prior experience with kids (e.g., camp counselor, daycare, nanny, school, ABA) preferred Energetic, playful, creative, able to think on your feet Dependable – someone your client and family can count on Ability to constantly get up and down off floor, move quickly Tech savviness – comfortable learning data collection software and Microsoft Office 365 Desire to learn, work independently, and provide high-quality care Interest in evidence-based methods grounded in science Who we are From wow moments, ABS Kids finds purpose; our mission is to help children with autism and their families.
