Bilingual Behavior Technician - Afternoon Hours
ABS Kids
is seeking a Bilingual Behavior Technician for afternoon hours. Immediate positions are available to work with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
Join ABS Kids as a Behavior Technician and help children learn essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors in alignment with individualized treatment plans.
What You Will Do
Teach kids while playing and follow a treatment plan specific to each child.
Observe, play and collect data to document progress notes.
Help kids learn essential life skills such as motor, social, and emotional skills.
Work on goals with the child to shape challenging behaviors into communication skills.
Skills And Qualities We Are Looking For
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire.
Paid prior experience with kids (e.g., Camp counselor, daycare, nanny, school setting, ABA) preferred.
High energy, playful, creative, and able to think on your feet.
Dependable—someone the client and family can count on.
Ability to repeatedly get up and down off the floor and move quickly.
Tech savviness—comfortable using data collection software and Microsoft Office 365.
Willingness to learn, work independently, and provide high-quality care.
Interest in evidence-based methods grounded in science and proven effective.
Benefits And Compensation
$20.00 - $24.50 / hour
Additional $2.00 / hour premium pay for weekends and holidays
Increased pay for RBT certification
Paid drive time / mileage reimbursement
