you belong here. The Account Analyst is a foundational role where the associate learns the fundamentals of commercial insurance programs and client service. Their goal is to deliver a consistent, positive customer service experience while learning how commercial insurance programs are structured, placed, and serviced. They coordinate with clients, markets, and internal teams to resolve client service issues, carrier queries, or billing concerns. The Account Analyst learns the renewal cycle and supports key stakeholders to ensure the team meets prescribed timelines. The Account Analyst always adheres to Lockton's cultural values and treats fellow associates, clients, and vendors with dignity and respect. Responds to routine client inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, issues, and resolutions, and refers complex inquiries to senior staff. Prepares written correspondence and makes calls to underwriters as requested by senior staff. Reviews policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness. Evaluates proposal policies using checklists and notifies senior staff of missing items or concerns. Assists in the renewal process by requesting and gathering necessary reports. Supports the production of employee communications such as newsletters and presentations. Assists with financial reporting for renewals by gathering client details. Executes requested policy changes. Assists with loss-run requests and extends expiring binders as needed. Responds to tasks from the Renewal Assistance Program report and updates it accordingly. Maintains carrier product information. Enters data into management systems, audits for accuracy, and maintains client records. Prepares preliminary numbers for experience modifications and orders related worksheets. Processes client invoicing and researches billing errors. Develops understanding of insurance brokerage and account servicing processes. Researches industry trends and regulations. Performs other duties as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Up to three years of client service experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of industry trends and regulations. Willingness to complete ongoing education requirements. Ability to attend meetings and training sessions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with policies. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to travel as required. Proficiency with office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed.
