Account Analyst - Real Estate Insurance

The Account Analyst is a foundational role where the Associate learns the fundamentals of commercial insurance programs and client service. Their goal is to deliver a consistent, positive customer service experience as they learn how commercial insurance programs are structured, placed, and serviced. They coordinate with clients, markets, and internal teams for client service issues, carrier queries, or billing concerns. The Account Analyst learns the renewal cycle and provides support to key stakeholders to ensure the team meets the prescribed timeline. The Account Analyst always adheres to Lockton's cultural values, treating fellow associates, clients, and vendors with dignity and respect. Receives and responds to routine client inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, existing issues, and resolutions, referring complex inquiries to more senior staff. Prepares written correspondence and makes telephone calls to underwriters as requested by senior staff. Reviews and processes policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage, policy content, and form completion. Evaluates proposal policies with criteria outlined in checklists and notifies senior staff of missing items or concerns. Assists in the renewal process by requesting and gathering enrollment, volume, and benefit summary reports. Helps produce employee communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and overhead presentations as requested. Assists with financial reporting for renewals by gathering and compiling client details. Executes requested changes on policies. Periodically assists in loss-run requests. Extends expiring binders as requested. Responds to and fulfills requirements generated by the Renewal Assistance Program report, updating the report upon task completion. Assists in maintaining carrier product information. Enters data into management systems, auditing for accuracy, completeness, and conformity to procedures. Maintains records of clients. Prepares preliminary numbers for experience modification and orders worksheets. Issues and processes client invoicing. Researches invoice and billing errors. Gains understanding of insurance brokerage business and account servicing processes. Researches industry trends and governmental regulations. Performs other duties as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. Up to three years of client services experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Understanding of industry trends and regulations. Ability to complete continuing education requirements. Ability to attend meetings and training sessions. Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and managing time effectively. Willingness to travel as needed. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Additional Details
