Overview This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Candidates must live in the Nashville area. Reporting into the Division Manager, the Hematology Clinical Account Specialist (HCAS) will build and implement territory business plans that align with overall brand objectives and business goals. The HCAS must demonstrate clear and thorough hematology disease state understanding and have established strong and professional relationships with hematologists/oncologists (in private, group practice and hospital settings), nursing and office staff, and others involved in the oncology patient care continuum. The role fosters collaboration with peers and the extended team network within a co-promotion landscape, drives results aligned with brand expectations and AbbVie\'s mission for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned sales goals.
Presents approved disease state and product information to customers, using persuasive selling skills within AbbVie/Pharmacyclics Promotional Policy.
Leverages sales analytics and customer intelligence to create high-impact, strategic plans that align with brand objectives.
Executes sales and marketing strategies within the territory, leveraging cross-functional partners and approved resources.
Continuously builds knowledge of an evolving marketplace, territory changes, and disease state knowledge & product expertise.
Collaborates effectively with all territory partners and external counterpart(s).
Develops and executes a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of Pharmacyclics activities.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred.
2+ years Hematology/Oncology sales experience preferred.
Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively; consultative selling style.
Competitive selling skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment; valid driver\'s license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
Background check requirements: AbbVie/Pharmacyclics background check and additional screening as required by some institutions.
Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation at the time of posting and may vary by geographic location and other factors.
