About the location:
Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.
Aloha! Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i is seeking a Sales Coordinator.
JOIN OUR 'OHANA
The Sales Coordinator helps to drive new business growth within the Leisure Sales segment through strategic business development, lapsed guest engagements, prospecting with direction and relationship building that drives revenue generation in target markets. They will continue to be the hotel’s leisure representative on-site and host administrative requirements surrounding the leisure sales market.
What We Look For
Education:
College education required or equivalent experience.
Skills
Experience/ Skills & Abilities:
Self-starter with creative, entrepreneurial drive and proactive approach to meeting and exceeding goals. Skilled in prospecting, relationship building, and closing sales within high-end leisure markets. Hosts high level of professional judgment surrounding client decisions balanced against property performance. Established resort knowledge to include details of operational hours and days, engagement with leadership team within each area, and host the confidence to proactively communicate execution requests with high expectation guests. Presentation skills up to 12ppl. at one time surrounding property presentation and ‘reasons to believe’. Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with hotel management and teams. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a polished presentation style fitting of a luxury brand.
