Tequila Tromba
Overview
The Texas Sales Manager will be responsible for driving distribution, volume, and visibility for Tequila Tromba across Texas. This includes managing our distributor partner Favorite Brands, collaborating closely with Sazerac, and developing strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts throughout the state.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with deep relationships in the Texas beverage industry and a passion for growing authentic, premium brands.
Responsibilities
Drive Sales & Distribution:
Build and execute state-level sales plans to expand Tromba’s footprint in both on- and off-premise channels.
Distributor Management:
Lead day-to-day collaboration with Favorite Brands—conduct sales meetings, align on targets, and ensure focus across key sales teams.
Importer Coordination:
Work closely with Sazerac on programming, pricing, logistics, and brand priorities.
Account Development:
Secure new placements and strengthen relationships with influential bars, restaurants, and retail chains across the state.
Brand Ambassadors & Events:
Recruit, train, and manage brand ambassadors to execute tastings, activations, and local marketing events.
Trade Marketing:
Implement and monitor local POS, promotions, incentives, and brand visibility programs.
Class B Account Leadership:
Build and sustain relationships with Class B and independent accounts to grow volume and visibility.
Reporting:
Track KPIs including new points of distribution, rate of sale, and monthly depletion targets.
Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
Established network of on- and off-premise relationships in Texas.
Proven success managing distributor relationships
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and strong communication skills.
Ability to travel throughout the state as needed.
Passion for premium tequila and authentic brand storytelling.
