Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Pediatric Pain

Join the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Pediatric Pain management. The Department of Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient and outpatient pediatric pain management service team. Position Highlights

Highly competitive compensation based on rank and experience Clinical work in both inpatient and outpatient settings Supportive onboarding No call and occasional weekends Work in an interdisciplinary team with physicians, psychologists, and other care team members Clinical activities include inpatient acute pain consult services, interdisciplinary intake evaluations, outpatient therapy, and care coordination. Chronic pain and headache clinics: treat youth with a wide range of pain problems. Benefits

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Licensed, or eligible to be licensed as appropriate in the state of Wisconsin. Certification as Advanced Practice Nurse and a Wisconsin Advance Practice Nurse Prescriber License or Certification by NCCPA AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA Experience with pediatric patients and be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
