The Department of Anesthesiology
at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW) is seeking a
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
to join our inpatient and outpatient
pediatric pain management
service team. We are a group of dedicated faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.
Position Highlights:
Highly competitive compensation based on rank and experience
Clinical work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Supportive onboarding
No call and occasional weekends
Interdisciplinary team collaboration including physicians, psychologists, and other care team members
Activities include inpatient acute pain consults, interdisciplinary evaluations, outpatient therapy focusing on cognitive behavioral and family systems approaches, biofeedback, school collaboration, group therapy, and care coordination
Manage chronic pain and headache clinics treating various pain conditions

Position Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Wisconsin
Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriber license or NCCPA certification
AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA certification
Experience with pediatric patients and teamwork skills
