Community Counseling Center is seeking passionate individuals for the Community Support Caseworker Supervisor role. The CSC Supervisor operates from a client-centered, strength-based approach, emphasizing the importance of mental health support. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working with diverse populations, and enjoy supporting community mental health needs.

The Program Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (CPRC) supports adults and children with disabilities in social role functioning and daily living skills. Staff work closely with clients in various community settings, providing case management services and therapy to promote recovery.

The Job Responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the delivery of Community Support and crisis intervention services of an assigned team with the Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (CPRC). Emergency services and direct services as assigned are a part of the duties.

Essential Functions:

Screen referrals, complete eligibilities, assign clients to staff and assure assessments and treatment plans are completed within CPRC timeframes.

Facilitate and provide leadership of CS treatment team meetings.

Monitor direct services by providing regular and frequent supervision, regular review of written documentation, reviewing client status, referral needs, and making in-home conjoint visits with assigned staff.

Ensure attainment of work performance productivity standards of assigned staff.

Identify and review staff training needs, develop individual and group activities to ensure orientation and continuing education/training objectives are completed within CPRC timelines.

Provide leadership in establishing effective working relationships with other CCC services and outside agencies, including identification of new community resources for CS clients.

Be available to respond to client emergencies during office hours, provide direct client care services as assigned.

Maintain appropriate supervisory boundaries.

Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

Supervise and direct supervisees in the performance of their job functions.

Proactively provide feedback and training to supervisees to assist them with meeting performance expectations.

Hold direct supervisees accountable for the satisfactory performance of their job functions, including issuing corrective discipline and make recommendations for termination, when warranted.

How Success is Measured:

Direct Service: Consistency in client meetings to ensure needs are met (typically ~24 half-hour contacts/week).

Documentation: Quality, thorough, and concise documentation completed within designated timeframes.

Communication: Effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and treatment team members.

Time Management: Timeliness for meetings, supervisions, and client appointments, managing documentation efficiently.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP); or

A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP); or

Meet the qualifications of a Community Support Caseworker (Bachelor's Degree, or;

Any four-year combination of higher education and qualifying experience, or;

Four years of qualifying experience. )

Plus at least 3 years of population - specific experience

providing community support services in accordance with the key service function specified in 9 CSR 30-3.157 Community Support in CSTAR and 9 CSR 10-4.047. Experience is specific to the adult or child/youth/adolescent population the individual will supervise.

Qualifying experience includes service delivery to individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards and have reliable transportation.

Travel in own vehicle is required.
