Location: Cape Girardeau, MO Full Time: Non-Exempt - 40 hours/week, Day Shift Schedule Base Pay
Base Pay: $19.20 - $21.60/hour, dependent upon relevant experience Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services Field; or Occupational therapist, Physical therapist, Assistant behavior analyst; or Associate degree and two years of experience working with mental health or child population; or Two years of college and two years of experience working with mental health or child populations Must hold or obtain by start date MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must meet CCC Motor Vehicle Record standards and have reliable transportation. Staff must have proof of auto insurance and be able to meet licensing/insurance requirements. About the Program
The Youth Day Treatment program provides services to youth in grades K-12 who require a step-down or alternative to inpatient care or as transitional care. The Day Treatment Program offers a more intensive level of care than outpatient treatment in a structured, daytime behavioral health setting. The Job
As a YDT Specialist Team Lead, you will provide interventions to youth in the Day Treatment Program to help them remain in school, in the community, and at home. You will provide guidance and act as the point of contact when the Program Manager is unavailable. Essential Functions
Attend to the needs of youth during Day Treatment activities and in the community under the Day Treatment Manager’s direction. Provide feedback on behavior, skills, and peer interactions during Treatment Team Meetings. Teach skills and model prosocial interactions based on the youth’s treatment plan. Document according to clinical policies and procedures (DMH, CARF, and agency standards). Communicate with parents via phone as directed by the program manager. Facilitate family activities as directed by the Program Manager. Collaborate with an integrated treatment team including case managers, psychiatrists, and school staff to ensure consistent care. Float between Youth Day Treatment locations as required. Ensure safety and welfare of clients and the program. Support Youth Day Treatment Specialist and Family Assistance Worker through chart reviews and non-clinical supervision. Complete client observations and related charting per agency policy. Manage vehicle upkeep, routes for transportation, and safety related to transport of clients. Provide meal plans and shopping lists as needed. Intervene in behavioral health crisis situations when needed, including seclusion or restraint in accordance with Pro-Act guidelines and agency policy. Maintain Pro-ACT and CPR/First Aid certifications. Minimum Required Qualifications (Ancillary staff)
