BB Camp is seeking an experienced, passionate, and visionary Camp Director to lead our vibrant residential camp community. Reporting to the CEO, the Camp Director will oversee all aspects of summer camp operations and year-round engagement programs, ensuring excellence in programming, staff and camper experience, safety, and Jewish community building. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for someone excited to shape the next generation of BB Camp’s legacy. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Community Building Foster a welcoming, inclusive Jewish environment for campers and staff. Serve as a role model and culture-setter within the camp community. Camper & Staff Recruitment Lead year-round recruitment and retention strategies. Cultivate strong relationships with campers, families, staff, and community partners. Program Development & Implementation Design and oversee engaging, age-appropriate, values-based programs. Ensure a diverse range of high-quality experiences aligned with BB Camp’s mission. Staff Hiring & Supervision Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor summer staff. Create a positive, growth-oriented staff culture. Camp Operations Manage the day-to-day operations of the summer camp. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Budget & Financial Oversight Develop and manage the camp budget in collaboration with the CEO. Monitor expenses and ensure responsible resource use. Plan and implement Family Camps and out-of-school time sessions. Maintain engagement with camp families and alumni throughout the year. Strategic Planning & Growth Contribute to the long-term vision and expansion of BB Camp. Lead efforts to innovate and improve camp programs and facilities. Compensation

$65-75k Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Post-graduate work in related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in Jewish camp leadership or related youth programming. Proven success in staff supervision, program development, and operations management. Strong understanding of Jewish traditions and values; comfort creating inclusive Jewish programming. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience managing budgets and financial planning. Passion for informal education, youth development, and community-building. Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate effectively with several different stakeholders. Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills Must have the ability to manage simultaneous tasks, work under time constraints, and work long hours Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with Google applications; experience with CampMinder preferred How to Apply
