The Healthcare Sales Specialist sells medical gases, products, and services to healthcare and life science establishments within a specific geographic area, serving as a subject matter expert to both internal and external customers. Develops and executes regional company-specific medical and specialty gas marketing plans and supports the Region in this capacity. Increase sales and profit margins by presenting Airgas’s medical product lines and specialty gases to new prospects and existing customers; explain and demonstrate products and services to provide solutions tailored to customer needs. Develops and implements customer-specific marketing plans by studying product type and volume used by customers/prospects. Prepares sales proposals and contracts by quoting pricing, credit terms, and delivery estimates based on Airgas production and delivery schedules. Acts as a resource for other Airgas sales professionals by providing product and industry training, customer presentations, and recommendations. Monitors competition through research and gathering current marketplace information. Resolves customer concerns and complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and reporting findings to management. Keeps management informed by maintaining daily CRM activity and producing results reports and territory analyses. Recommends continuous improvement suggestions across processes, procedures, products, services, and policies by assessing results and monitoring competitive developments. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. In lieu of degree, up to 4 years of additional sales experience may be considered. Minimum of 3 years of prior solution-driven sales experience, preferably within the industrial and specialty medical gas field. Demonstrated relationship management and consultative selling aptitude with the ability to problem-solve and devise customer solutions. Ability to target accounts and achieve results through a structured sales process and strategy. Ability to build effective relationships with all levels inside and outside the organization. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with understanding of financial terms including margin, profit, cost, and rate of return. Effective verbal and written communication; ability to work cross-functionally and engage the right stakeholders to achieve results. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. Frequent regional travel (up to 60% of work time). Minimal overnight travel. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration. Preferred Qualifications: SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus. Background in medical and specialty gases is a plus. Benefits
