Position Overview CUMULUS MEDIA | INDIANAPOLIS is looking for a Digital Sales Manager who is equal parts strategist, coach, and motivator. If you enjoy digital trends, helping teams crush goals, and creating smart, innovative marketing solutions—this role is for you. You will lead in growing digital revenue by empowering the sales team, guiding clients toward game-changing campaigns, and staying ahead in the evolving digital landscape. You’ll be the go-to digital guru, helping both our team and clients leverage today’s most effective platforms to build brands and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Be the digital expert - mastering our suite of solutions, from podcast and streaming audio to social media, OTT/CTV, display, reputation management and beyond.
Coach & inspire - participate in client meetings, train sales reps, and share knowledge in an engaging way.
Collaborate & connect - work with the sales team, leadership, clients, and vendor partners to deliver creative, full-funnel digital marketing solutions.
Strategize & innovate - build campaigns, create customized opportunities, and shape go-to-market strategies for Indianapolis’s competitive media scene.
Champion results - oversee campaign execution, lead recap meetings, measure performance, celebrate client wins, and push for bigger results.
What We’re Looking For
A natural leader and coach with a passion for mentoring others.
A creative problem-solver who can simplify the digital landscape for clients and teammates.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
5+ years of experience in digital sales, media, or marketing is a plus (but passion, curiosity, and drive matter most).
2+ years of experience in a management role.
Excellent presentation skills and strong verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize and solve client issues.
Time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and software-savvy; ability to learn multiple new software programs; preferred experience with e‑Commerce sites, CRM tools, and digital marketing/advertising software.
