Local Sales Manager/Team Leader role at

in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of winning, supporting teams, and creating a positive environment where everyone can succeed. Our Sales Managers lead with focus, collaboration, and empowerment, driving revenue across on-air, digital, and experiential assets. Developing new business and cultivating plans to prospect, develop, and maintain opportunities locally and beyond the home market is key. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aims to exceed the market’s revenue goals, selling integrated campaigns across Radio, Audio, Digital, Live Events, Sweet Deals, and NTR Be a visible and available leader to the team and community Identify, recruit, train, coach, manage and develop high-performance sales talent and build a successful team to ensure continued top-line growth Maintain ongoing recruitment to ensure top quality team, always having a bench of candidates Attend high-profile account presentations; provide coaching and leadership to the sales team Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with Sales Team members to evaluate pending business for conversion and record in CRM Maximize and monitor CRM to provide a blueprint for success Lead Sales staff meetings and training sessions Manage inventory and reporting in Stratus/Wide Orbit Handle administrative functions related to forecasting revenue, rate, pricing and order approvals Engage in business and community associations to develop relationships with local influencers and decision makers Develop client relationships by delivering quality customer service Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality service when placing orders and coordinating promotions Oversee special event sales Assist in local and national rate negotiations, sales plans and budgeting Develop creative, customer-focused revenue programs and ancillary sales projects Oversee and manage expenses of the Sales organization Generate revenue from personal account list Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment Qualifications

3 years of experience in broadcast or digital sales, sales management, and mentoring preferred with a proven track record in radio and/or digital Proficiency in radio and digital sales, including research, event development, and multi-platform/integrated sales Familiar with CRM systems, budget procedures, daily sales accountability, recognition programs, inventory management, and collections procedures Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and social networking platforms Strong training and coaching skills; organization, delegation, interviewing and motivation of sales staff High energy and achievement-oriented attitude toward sales, client relations with strong negotiation skills Excellent presentation skills Flexible and creative; digitally savvy; ability to adapt in a changing advertising landscape Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr. What We Offer
