Field Sales Rep II Seed-DEKALB/Asgrow

— The counties for this DEKALB/Asgrow Field Sales Representative II role: Rock, Nobles, Jackson counties.

Location: United States, Minnesota, Residence Based. Division: Crop Science. Reference Code: 852518.

Responsibilities

Achieve assigned targets with Bayer products in coordination with squad-mates.

Support the delivery of squad goals through collaborative efforts.

Develop and implement dealer business plans, manage forecasting, inventory, and product line demand.

Serve as a key business consultant to retailers and dealers, selling the value of Bayer Crop Science products.

Champion Bayer brands and demonstrate product performance against competitors.

Collaborate with Field Sales Reps, Customer Business Advisors, Technical Agronomists, and other team members to maximize services and sales.

Manage inventory concerns to meet business objectives.

Analyze market and competitive information to drive business decisions.

Follow strategies for achieving business plans for key accounts and assigned areas.

Manage expenses and program payments for growth.

Expand selling skills and product knowledge.

Ensure program execution and fulfillment, including marketing initiatives.

Manage relationships with top growers and retailers, planning for customer business needs.

Mentor FSR interns and junior FSRs.

Travel up to 60% for face-to-face customer interaction.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, oral, and written).

Initiative, assertiveness, and ability to drive results.

Strong business acumen, account planning, influencing, and critical thinking skills.

Financial, time, and territory management proficiency.

Proven ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced and matrixed environment.

Strong computer and presentation skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Demonstrated digital acumen and ability to analyze data to influence decisions.

Willingness to travel and live/work in a rural environment.

Proven interest in supporting customer needs and driving market share growth.

Position may involve driving that falls under DOT/FMCSA jurisdiction, including safe hauling when applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Demonstrated product, portfolio, and agronomic knowledge.

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, or agriculture, or 7+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.

Salary: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $70,068.82 and $105,103.24. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave. The offer may vary based on market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees/certifications, and other factors.
