Summary

The Sales Project Manager supports revenue growth & client relationship by working in conjunction with sales executives on specific strategies and activities. The role gathers customer requirements and ensures success for the client from product inception to delivery, this includes communication between the client and internal teams throughout entire product lifecycle.

JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE

Owns project deliverables and overall execution for all assigned programs; oversees all aspects of project as it moves through Bay Cities departments. Meets customers frequently and participates in sales client meetings and sales client calls. Assures all projects stay on track and meet established deadlines. Assesses problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem. Develops a time & action calendar and tracks details/data/information/activities per program. Develops solutions for project issues and effectively communicates solutions to all internal and external stakeholders. Performs daily management of project schedule, WebCenter, and assigned project resources –accountable for the effectiveness of all assigned project resources. Assesses project situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and under general supervision, makes clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. Maintains strong communication lines with sales team, client service team, design team, production team, packout team, and or clients regarding all programs. Responsible for managing and ensuring all deliverables per sales & PM project checklist are met and validates the completed deliverables by department. Works in conjunction with the client service teams to execute client proposals. Manages and assists on RFP/RFI/&Client proposals. Builds and maintains relationships with sales force to understand and serve their needs as a first line of support on all leads, clients, programs, systems, and applications. Proactively and thoroughly researches matters relating to account assignments, WebCenter, forecasting and opportunities/quotes, booking transactions, packout timelines and/or accounts receivables. Coordinates deliverables to involve relevant members of client services, design, operations, packout, supply chain and the sales team. Assists and drives target categories under Sales Executive by increasing revenue and market opportunities outlined by EVP of Sales. Utilizes software & tools such as CRM, WebCenter, project flow, Time & Action calendar effectively to track projects internally. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Competencies

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a sales/customer service & project management capacity desirable. Experience in the corrugated, display or packaging industry a plus. Strong understanding of direct/database marketing and analytics. Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and CRM tools. Visio and Publisher, a plus. Strong typing skills and proficiency in English, grammar, and proofreading skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry. Excellent organizational skills and ability to interact with sales, operations, design, and all levels of management. Valid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record and reliable transportation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Work environment includes front-office and manufacturing in California. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
