Inside Sales Representative - Logistics Services - Hybrid - Must be located in the Greater Chicago Area. Package -
$55,000-$70,000 base salary + Uncapped commission Responsibilities Selling a logistics and supply chain brokerage service including Air, Road & Ocean freight to a range of product manufacturing & distributing markets. Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability. Identify and reach out to potential product manufacturing & distributing customers through cold calling, emails, and other sales tactics. Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to understand their logistics needs. Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing new business and expanding existing accounts. Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments. Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software. Requirements Ideally have prior sales or customer service experience with basic knowledge of the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. Ideally has a preexisting network within logistics and freight forwarding. Must be competitive, entrepreneurial individual, who is results driven. Extremely motivated to make many Cold Calls and send lots of Cold Emails. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work. Seniority level
