Overview
The full salary range for the Campus Fire Inspector is $75,900 - $137,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is from $73,600 - $110,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Responsibilities
Perform professional duties related to fire and life safety as part of a multi-disciplinary professional/technical staff. Ensure that the campus is in compliance with state codes and regulations applicable to fire safety in buildings and equipment, including Titles 8, 9, 19, 24, et al. of the California Code of Regulations. Ensure compliance with applicable national standards related to fire safety including the National Fire Protection Association Standards. Perform required inspections of fire extinguishing systems on campus, including but not limited to automatic fire sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, standpipe systems, fixed extinguishing systems, and fire protective signaling systems. Perform annual Title 19 building safety inspections and Title 24 new construction inspections. Requirements
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Policies
